LAWS, or LA Word Salon, explores the artistic process through positive, public platforms. and subcategory synesthesia.
The salon began as meetings on Sundays at 1836 Sunset Studios in Echo Park, Los Angeles (CA) in January 2015. The community gathered and grew on Sundays as LAWordSalon open-mic events to March 2016. In total, the salon hosted 51 evenings of song, poetry, discussion, comedy, featured bands and performers, theme suggestions, group poems, last minute sign-ups, and occasional name tags.
Currently, LAWS and LAWSters continue to gather, just not necessarily on Sundays, and not necessarily in Los Angeles. Though, that happens.

If your open mics aren’t necessarily always on Sundays, what day of the week will they be during the next coming months, and what time?
