This week LAWordSalon does Echo Park Rising!
HEADS UP! THIS WEEK LAWS IS MAD DIFFERENT –>
We won’t be open-mic-ing this week. We will, of course, still be open-minded.
There will be a lot of great music in Echo Park (per usual) but in excess from Aug.14th – 16th during this fifth year of Echo Park Rising. The LAWS venue, Rafa’s (1836 Sunset Studios), will be happening [and prob quite heated] the whole time. LAWS will be the best time. LAWS (Los Angeles Word Salon) is
a weekly installment of songs, poetry and discussion around different themes in an open mic format. all are welcome. green, esteemed, established, curious.
Normally, doors open and sign-ups for LAWS are at 6PM on Sundays. We get started at 6:45 with 3-5 minute shares around the theme. At 9PM we have a featured artist. It’s great. You should come.
