Every LAWS we put some words together in the form of a Group Poem. Here’s our words from last Sunday at LAWS #46 Lorna!
LAWS #46 Lorna
Group Poem
12.20.2015
Infinite propulsion
into riding waves
of oceans
that cause cardiac
convulsions
You set the scene
for me to taste my dram
I owe you a crown but I
am no king
of the monarch sense
but in essence
I could offer presents and
the cool kids call them
raps
I still call them poems
Lorna
You were born a
Queen
Her art is beautiful
because it comes
from beauty.
Sacrificing her time
so we can share ours.
Keep the faith
and the faithful will follow
Does Lorna watch porn-a?
Maybe ‘Twas a joke–
but truly she’s great folk!
So keep on flowing
and don’t choke.
You’ve got the longest
rope. You call only
cut your own.
Now fly out unto
the unknown!
